The Thielenbruch Tram Museum presents the history of rail-bound city transport in Cologne. It is located in the Dellbrück district of Cologne and was opened in 1997. The collection of vehicles from the Cologne public transport company, which has been gradually built up since the 1960s and 1970s, is presented in a 1906 carriage depot on the eastern outskirts of Cologne. With around two dozen trams, some of which are operational, it offers an overview of the development of this means of transport from horse-drawn trams to light rail vehicles. The association “Historic Tramway Cologne e. V.” runs the museum on a voluntary basis. The inn in the museum is also located in the building complex.
