Directly at the tunnel entrance, a small staircase goes to the left. Here the path follows the river. Sometimes we had to climb because short parts of the way were apparently washed away but the extra way is worth it. Really really beautiful. However, it took us at least half an hour longer than the paved path through the tunnel.
