In the Plaza del Trabuco stands the Church of San Pedro, built on an old mosque, it attracts attention due to its octagonal floor plan on the outside that becomes circular on the inside.
It is the most representative of the churches in Cuenca and one of the oldest, but its successive reconstructions place it in its current invoice, the work of José Martín de la Aldehuela in the 18th century. Among its treasures, the cover of a very contained baroque and the Mudejar coffered ceiling of one of its chapels stand out.

The Church of San Pedro is one of the most important in Cuenca. Not only because of its beautiful architecture, but also because of its history, which is deeply rooted in the history of the city. She is small but beautiful and has been declared a Property of Cultural Interest. A short visit well worth it!
