    Tips

    April 6, 2023

During Ramadan (or "ram'zan", as they pronounce it here in Punjab) Muslims do not eat and drink from roughly four in the morning until around 6.30 p.m.

So they can take a very early breakfast before 4 am and they can "break the fasting" in the evening.

They celebrate this in the family and with friends or colleagues. That's what they call IFTAR.

It is a pleasure to see and wait with them for that moment and experience together how much they enjoy the moment, the food and the drink, and the company.

At the beginning of the IFTAR, tradition says that you should begin with a date. It is very healthy, provides lots of energy, and it is recommended by Islamic rules.

    Then comes all the rest...

    Enjoy your meal!
