Inaugurated in 1958, the monument has a very interesting history linked to the area where it is located and to that of the city itself. Today the monument continues to pay homage to the Liberator and is a social meeting place where many come together to enjoy the beautiful park that surrounds it with beautiful views of the municipal spa.
