remember to bring binnoculars, flamingo's visit here too, the salt lake path is approx 10 miles circular trail, wise to do this early morning or there is a bike shop in La Mata where you can hire for half a day or full. you can then follow the path to the Salt lake if Torrvieja.

The absolute highlight is watching the flamingos feeding. Make sure you bring something to magnify them (binoculars, large camera, phone zoom...). They were also visible in January.
