Yesterday my troop – three people (@Chris, @Kerstin, and @Markus) plus me – participated in the Mammutmarsch Ruhrgebiet and we made it the 30 km. It was my first time! Unbelievable how many participants were there. Pure madness! And we were really lucky with the great weather. An absolutely awesome event

Yesterday I traveled with @Claudi by train to Warburg. Despite the train delay, we still caught the connecting bus. We actually thought we had just missed it – but the bus was also delayed. 😅
After getting off the bus, we immediately had a view of the old town of Warburg. Beautiful! 😍

Wanderrunde Hüsten – Arnsberger Wald – Bruchhausen
• Mostly through the forest
• Passage through the Aupketal valley
• Many hammering woodpecker sounds „tock-tock-tock“
• Beautiful views of the Sauerland hills and five towns: Möhnesee, Bruchhausen, Arnsberg, Niedereimer, and Hüsten

We did a loop around Affeln, not far from my hometown Allendorf. 😊
Mostly we went right through the forest – nice paths, beautiful trails and three ascents. 😀
Due to a closure, we had to take a detour. This section was very demanding and really adventurous. 😅
