The chapel is an ancient building whose history dates back to the years of the Saracens and the crusades they fought in the area. It was built on the remains of another church destroyed by the Crusades.
There is a water point next to the chapel. The water tap cannot be turned on because it is secured with a padlock. I've never come across anything like that, who comes up with such ideas? Despite the old chapel, this makes the place very unsympathetic.
