Winter close to Arenas de Cabrales. It was a town until the 18th century, although they remained neighbors until the 20th. There are even authors who say that Muniama was first populated, and then its inhabitants moved to Arenas, due to the strong winds in the area. There are several legends about it, one of which says that the primitive inhabitants of Sotres came from Muniama. It is currently used by livestock, although the old buildings are preserved, with interesting inscriptions. It is reached from Arenas by track, which ends in the nearby winter areas of Vanu, or by a beautiful path that crosses a wooded area, and which is taken past the bridge on the road that goes to Poncebos.
