Beautiful path, in all seasons, with a great view of the Spatzenberg and Homberg.

This path can also be used as an alternative to the parallel road.

This path used to connect the Oberbehme estate with the Oberbehme rye mill, which also belonged to the von Laer family, east of the level crossing at the Werre (milling ceased operations in 1970, burned down in 1988, demolished around 2000). Remains of the mill weir and the mill ditch were still recognizable years ago. The rye mill was the younger "sister" of the Oberbehmer wheat mill (today's restaurant "Mühlenwerk 1857").
