On the way to the highest mountain in Thailand, you pass through an agricultural area in the so-called Golden Triangle (Thailand, Myanmar, Laos), which used to live from opium cultivation. The king of Thailand banned this a few decades ago and offered coffee cultivation as an alternative. This has done the area very well and the really very simple wooden huts have become small houses and bicycles have become cars.
You can visit the coffee cultivation on paths and test the coffee freshly brewed over an open fire in the coffee huts. Tastes very good and spicy. So of course I bought a pack.
