In 1931, the estate covered an area of 245 hectares.
The estate was originally owned by the Barons von der Asseburg (Hinnenburg) and was acquired by Theodor Gunst in 1800. After several generations, Harald von Kemski inherited the estate from his mother Valerie Antoinette von Kemski, née Gunst, in 1964.
