The Buffalo Gap Trail is a Theodore Roosevelt National Park bypass section of the Maah Daah Hey Trail because mountain biking is not allowed in the TRNP. Despite it being designed for mountain biking it's also a great hiking trail that allows you to make a great hiking loop in combination with the Petrified Forest Loop Trail.
