    Hiking

This beguiling structure is a hilltop folly that dates back to 1761 and enjoys a beautiful panorama. Part of the Blair Castle estate, it was built by Lord John Murray, though he was initially unsure what to call it. The then minister of Blair Castle, Mr Stewart, remarked that it was merely a whim and Murray replied 'Whim let it be'.
