Pomeranian Gothic granite church. Its construction is dated to the 13th or early 14th century. In 1703 the church burned down, but was rebuilt shortly after the fire. The massive tower with a skeleton structure faced with brick comes from this period. At the end of the 19th century the shape of the windows and portals was changed. The church has survived in this form to this day.
In the central part of Żelechów, we will find a church built of granite blocks at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. After a fire in 1709, it was rebuilt with a new tower and apse. Again completely rebuilt in the 19th century.
In the area adjacent to the church, there is a former Evangelical cemetery, which was established on an area of 0.43 ha in the 13th century. Old tombstones have been removed from the necropolis, only contemporary slabs from the second half of the 20th century have survived. The whole is surrounded by a 100-meter-high fence wall built before the 17th century and a section of the wall from the first half of the 19th century, which is 170 meters long. In the older part of the wall there are two gates, presumably from the same period as the old part of the wall.
