The beach of Roelshoek near Krabbendijke is one of the undiscovered pearls on the Oosterschelde. The beach is not crowded and is perfect for spotting birds during a picnic. So be sure to bring your binoculars and camera. This location has excellent water quality for a refreshing dip. At low tide, an extensive mudflat area emerges. This dried-out piece of bottom is suitable for mudflat walking. In short, this beach offers many possibilities and is also great fun to go to with children. There is a spacious free car park.

Roelshoek Krabbendijke beach on the south side of the Oosterschelde at the Yerseke Oesterbank. At low tide an extensive mudflat area is exposed and at high tide there is consequently a fairly large shallow swimming paradise on the beach.
