If you enter the forest via the small path that leads away from the main path, you will find the remains of an impressive long bed. The moss-covered edging stones sometimes protrude more or less from the forest floor and testify to a culture that has long been lost. The long bed has an impressive length of 35 meters and is up to ten meters wide.
A legend says that the robber captain Pinnes or Pinas was buried here, who is said to have made the area unsafe. The inhabitants of the surrounding villages met at this magical place until around 1900 to celebrate happily with music, food and drinks on Pentecost Sunday.
Nowadays there is pleasant silence. Only the birds sing and the trees rustle in the wind, so that you can dream away, resting on one of the stones.
