Juniper Campground is the only campground in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
For Achenbach Trail hikers this is the only reliable water source during your back-country hiking experience. For this reason, it is recommended to start the loop from Oxbow Overlook, making the campground your half way point.
