Na Torfach nature reserve named after Janusz Kozłowski is located near Karczew, in the Masovian Landscape Park. The reserve was established in 1977 to protect Lake Torfy and wet forests. The "Swan Trail" nature trail leads to the lake, and at its end there is a wooden viewing platform.

Torfy Lake and Nature Reserve protects a lake formed in an old turf excavation pit. A wooden pier offers nice views for the lake, with vegetation visibly changing throughout the year. Some ducks and swans can usually be observed.
