Not the hardest of trails, some might call it kid-friendly even. Depending on the season it can be gnats central out here. The view at overlook gives you a nice view over the Yuba Rim River and canyon it weaves through. There is a nice rock outcropping to enjoy the view.

It is recommended to not hike alone here. This is wild country alive with mountain lions, bears and rattlesnakes aswell as poison oak.
