    Great tour along the Levada, through a rainforest. The paths are easy to walk on. Nevertheless, good shoes, a rain jacket (just in case) and lamps (several small tunnels) are recommended. The paths are secured. At the end of the tour you will be rewarded with the sight of a beautiful waterfall.

      You have to go there quite early, before 9am, because the parking lot at the start of the Levada is quickly full and after a horde of walkers quickly creates traffic jams along the narrow passages. On the other hand, the waterfall is magnificent and worth making the effort to walk.
