This dolmen is a collective burial ground and was built in the early Bronze Age
(2000-1600 BC). It is a small pre-Talayotic dolmen located east of the Son Real necropolis
located. The chamber has an irregular shape and no capstones
more. These structures are the first megalithic structures found on the island of Mallorca.
There are only three such courses in Mallorca: this one in Son Real, the one in Son
Baulo and those in s'Aigua Dolca. All three are located in Alcudia Bay. The
Dolmen was abandoned for unknown reasons, maybe they started, others
To take advantage of nearby spaces, such as the Son Real Hypogeum or Sa Coveta. Among the remains found at the site was a piece of slate. This material is characterized by not being found on the island of Mallorca, so it is on
indicating contact with Menorca where it exists.
