Since the 1990s, the stork care station has been caring for sick and injured storks, but also for the well-being of other animals and birds. Therefore, you have a good chance of observing the white stork around Berne. Around 50 pairs of storks make their way to the stork station every year or are treated and pepped up in the nursing station. Young animals are also raised in the station and later successfully released into the wild.
