A first church was first mentioned in a document in 1375. [2] The existing church building was built in 1739 after the earlier, probably half-timbered village church burned down in May 1727. The parsonage and animal stalls as well as a number of writings and books were also destroyed. - Another fire in the middle of the 19th century destroyed the church tower, which was rebuilt by 1861.
