Hiking
The Mother of God fountain forms the center of the pilgrimage site. An old baptismal font - dated 1678 - has served as a border for the spring since the 1930s. Some believers ascribe a healing effect to the water, they regard it as "eye water". Some pilgrims therefore wet their faces with the water from the well.
Please note: the water from the well is not drinking water!
