The Volkenroda monastery complex with its Christ Pavilion from Expo 2000 is the starting point or destination of the Loccum-Volkenroda pilgrimage route. The monastery has pilgrim accommodation, a restaurant and a monastery shop. Services are celebrated in the monastery church and there is a wide spiritual program. Our pilgrimage started here with quite a delay because we were taking in the diversity of the complex - so: take your time and find peace!
