View Over the Gorges de la Romanche

The balcony path overlooks the Romanche gorges. You can admire the bends formed by the arms of the river in the valley but also some specimens of local fauna. Open your eyes and you may see ibexes or even birds of prey that love to circle above the gorges.

Great view of the gorge and the opposite waterfalls. Especially great is the transition to the beautiful marmot meadows with idyllic meandering streams at the southern end of the stretch.
The path is exposed, but wide and easy to walk (you should be free from giddiness). Only when crossing the waterfall, slip resistance is required, but it is not too exposed there. Nevertheless, caution in the wet, as the slate can be slippery, in doubt prefer to reverse!
