Holstentor

The Holstentor is the landmark of Lübeck. The city gate is one of the remains of Lübeck's city fortifications and is located in the middle of the city. In front of it is a meadow where you can take a break if the weather is nice. At the Trave are close to a lot of restaurants, if the break should be a bit bigger.

In Holstentor there is a museum to the Hanseatic League and the Middle Ages.

The Holstentor is great - only coming from Bad Schwartau the bike paths were really not in good condition and with the many traffic lights the way in and out of Lübeck really took an "eternity"!
