Few people realize that the Prime Meridian also runs through Spain, specifically through the towns of El Verger and Dénia. After traversing the Mediterranean Sea, it rejoins the Iberian Peninsula for a few kilometers near Alicante, beginning in Dénia and ending in Calpe.
