The Ascherjoch, also known as the Semmelkopf, is a 1557m high peak south of the Trainsjoch. It is very easy to climb and has great views, especially to the south, including the Großvenediger. There is a bench at the top.

Mountaineering

Basically just an inconspicuous mountain ridge opposite the higher Trainsjoch. Nevertheless, there are beautiful views of the Kaiser Mountains and the central Alpine ranges to the south. There is a bench at the summit - I did not find the small cross mentioned in the literature. Coming from the Trainsjoch, you walk off-trail across the short meadow slope. The route to the Ascheralm via the Saurüssel is beautiful, along the little-used, inconspicuous path. If you are lucky, you will come across a herd of chamois.
