One of a few remaining giant Outeniqua Yellowwoods, named in honour of the reigning British King at the time of an official state visit in the 1920s.

The tree is estimated to be around 800 years old and stands 40m tall with a 7m circumference. These trees have excellent timber and was commonly harvested for shipbuilding. An awe-inspiring sight!
