The statue itself is 3.25 meters high, cast from gun bronze, and depicts the monarch in marshal's uniform, holding a plumed general's hat. The base is made of Bohemian granite. The statue is surrounded by four columns. On top of the columns is an architrave made of karst marble, topped by an iron double-headed eagle. The architrave bears the emperor's motto: VIRIBUS UNITIS
