    Hiking

A unique place and story in history. The Trust for Public Land bought the Doody Homestead and donated it to the NPS. Dan Doody was one of the first rangers in Glacier National Park but was fired later for excessive wildlife poaching. He was also a successful moonshiner and the kidnapper of his later wife Josephine who is said to have killed a man in Colorado and then kidnapped and taken to this cabin. I'd say there are enough interesting stories to make this a stop on your hike. ;-)
