The village of Unterharnsbach belongs to the Stappenbach curacy. There has been a chapel here since 1994, which is supported by the Chapel Building Association and is dedicated to the Holy Spirit.
The laying of the foundation stone on March 23, 1993 marked the start of the new construction of the Holy Spirit Chapel. In the presence of Hw. Dean Loskarn, Mayor Bogensperger, Building Director Weghorn and the board of directors walled a copper casket with the plan of the chapel, the St. Heinrichsblatt, some coins and the chronicle of the chapel building association into the foundation stone.
The topping-out ceremony was celebrated on May 15, 1993.
The inauguration of the Heilig-Geist-Kapelle took place on Whit Monday, May 23, 1994, by cathedral canon Prelate Hans Wich and Dean Loskarn.
