The Schwedengraben hydroelectric power station is located on the B470 shortly after Forchheim's Reuth district. During the Thirty Years' War, the Swedes attempted to dig out the water from Forchheim Fortress during their siege. The Schwedengraben power plant was built here in the 19th century.
