Originally built in a Romanesque style, the Saint-Théodorit cathedral was rebuilt in the late twelfth century after the Albigensian Crusade, then in the second half of the sixteenth century. At the beginning of the seventeenth century, it suffered total destruction with the arrival of the wars of religion.
