A fun little trail with some ace views. If you're running it as a descent, it starts off quite steep, but then mellows out; little uphill kick and you're onto the road.

There is a disused quarry just here, from which you can see the geology of the area; the Lower Ludlow Shales Group and the Aymestry Limestone Formation being the two major ones. You can also see the ruins of the quarry workings and a startlingly blue pond.
