Cnoc na dTobar (Knocknadobar) is seeped in history. As a prominent location in pagan Ireland, it was the venue for Lughnasa celebrations. Continuing its sacred significance, in 1885 14 stations of the cross were built to line the route to the summit. The recent addition of bright white paint and extra way markers make for an easy to follow trail to the top.
