Road cycling
A really grand, beautiful Tudor house built at the start of the 1500s. Worth a detour. If you've got time to spare then head up the inside of the tower for amazing views. It's the tallest Tudor gatehouse in the UK. £9 for entry. Tea rooms inside.

Not really somewhere you're going to visit on a road ride, unless you like climbing a tower in cleats. Not much visible from the road, other than the tree-lined driveway.
