Great route with small roads and good cycle paths. Both upstream and from Schmalnbühl (Bibert spring) following the river.

The Biberttal cycle path runs from the connection to the Altmühltal cycle path near Burghausen southwest of Oberdachstetten via Flachslanden past the Deutschordensburg - an impressive moated castle - to Unternbibert. Here it reaches the Bibert valley and largely uses the former route of the abandoned Bibert railway as far as Zirndorf. From Zirndorf it goes under the trough bridge of the Main-Danube Canal, past the Fürth outdoor pool, on the cycle paths of the city of Fürth to the connection to the Regnitz cycle path in the area of the confluence of the Pegnitz and Rednitz.
The Biberttal cycle path is easy to ride throughout, in the west it is slightly hilly, in the rest of the area it is largely flat (on the former railway line). It mainly uses little-used local connecting roads, land consolidation and forest paths, partly also asphalted. From Unternbibert/Andorf into the urban area it is developed as an independent cycle path, mostly gravel or water-bound.

Except on Sundays and public holidays, when there is a folk festival
