Ferrets belong to the mustelid family and are small land carnivores. Males are significantly heavier and larger than female ferrets, also known as ferrets. The animals have an elongated, slender body and a hairy tail that usually measures 11 to 20 cm. Ferrets' heads are small and rounded. With its spherical eyes and its rounded, close-fitting ears, the little predator makes it into the hearts of many animal lovers. Its legs are relatively short, but extremely strong. In addition, the domesticated polecats have long toes, with which they can dig optimally. Basically, ferrets can't see very well. The reason for this is that they are descended from nocturnal animals that live in underground burrows. Therefore, their hearing and sense of smell are particularly well developed. They also have whiskers on their face that they can use to explore their surroundings.
