Rather totally "inconspicuous" from the street, you experience a "wow effect" when you drive into the area! It is not the oldest historical temple in all its splendor as one would find elsewhere in Chiang Mai, but a local temple complex that retains its beauty through its carved and painted statues. A reclining Buddha with a robe made of coins, the 8 different Buddhas for the different days of the week and a colorful Ganesh are just a few of them.
