Henrhyd Falls Is the tallest waterfall in South Wales located in the Brecon Beacons. it cascades in a gorge within the Nant Llech Valley. Standing at almost a whopping 90 feet high and it’s one out of the only 2 waterfalls in the UK that allows you to walk behind it! Many people flock to hike Waterfall Country, I would highly recommend choosing this hidden gem if you want to escape some of the crowds. It’s one of the easiest waterfalls to access in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon beacons) and this spectacular cascade provides a wild swimming spot. You may also recognise this place as a Famous 🦇 BATMAN 🦇 filming location from the Dark Knight Rises! Where it doubled as the entrance for the bat cave. It is thought that Henrhyd Falls was formed millions of years ago and dates back to the last Ice Age.
