The Bochel is a prominent rounded hill of 491m south of Glenlivet and flanked by the river Livet & Crombie Water. There are nice views from the top but not far reaching as the hills in the middle distance surrounding it are all higher. It is a great place to look out for birds and quiet.
The summit is a good target for a walk from Tomnavoulin in the north or one of the closer car parks on the river Livet.
