    The Livet raises in the Ladder Hills to the south of here and flows through Glen Livet to reach the river Avon. This in turn flows into the Spey and then into the North Sea near Buckie. The river gives its name to the famous Glenlivet single malt.
    Here the river is still fairly small, very pretty and has nice walks along its banks.
