Hiking

In Oberrod, the town center of Niederemser Strasse and Rodigstrasse around the Protestant church is a listed building. The church was built on a hill in 1755 to replace a previous building. The almost square hall building with a slated gable with an onion dome has a flat mirrored ceiling above a stucco cornice in the interior. The other furnishings also probably date from the time of construction: the three-sided gallery and a pulpit with painted carved motifs in the center of the altar wall.
