Bonane Heritage Park is home to numerous sites from the stone, bronze and iron age. It is set in stunning scenery and a 2km trail takes in both the mountain views and the stone circle, ringfort and standing stones.

On a 2 km long circular path you can discover traces from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages in the middle of the green landscape. Old stone circles, ring forts and standing stones tell their story here - and as you walk along the path, views of the surrounding mountains alternate with hidden historical places.

You can reach the park by bike via narrow roads that meander through the valley and give you a foretaste of the special atmosphere that awaits you here. A short detour on foot is worthwhile to see the old stone formations up close and to let the tranquility of the place work its magic on you.

It is particularly beautiful when the sun breaks through the trees and the light dances on the old stones.
