From Montecatino you can go down returning towards Arsina or opt for the forest road which will instead take you to Località Torre in Valfreddana. The forest road is quite compact but you have to be careful because it has loose and still stones, so it's best to keep your speed under control. Tackling it after a lot of rain is not the best because the ruts caused by the Jeeps that travel along it make it treacherous, so be careful. When it's dry it's a real pleasure to make it. The forest road ends in the asphalted Via delle Querce di Torre which leads to Torre.
