Ny-Sulitjelma fjellstue is a 29-berth cabin locked with the DNT standard key. The hut can be reached by car via the driveway from Sulitjelma and is the starting point for short multi-day tours. In the kitchen, it is worth looking for gas cartridges or food that other hikers have left behind, because many make their way from there to the bus to Fauske after their tour.
Luxury is that the cottage has running water and electricity, as well as a large drying cupboard for clothes and shoes.
