The museum shows the history of the mining settlement and the pits in the area. What impressed me the most was the film in the museum, which very vividly portrayed life at the height of mining. The film sequences about the transport in winter by icebreaker and then by horse-drawn sleigh across the ice were impressive. The visit to the museum was worthwhile just because of the film.
